Shrink down to the size of a toy, and enter Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land. This is the first major land that opened that espouses Hollywood Studios’ new identity, by putting you inside of the movies instead of backstage. As you walk through this land, you will be surrounded by oversized toys. This is supposed to give you the impression that you are the size of a toy. From Tinker Toys and Scrabble, to colored blocks, you will recognize a lot of the toys that you are surrounded by from your childhood. Then, of course, you will also find Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the Toy Story gang.
This is a great area for the entire family. Families can compete with each other on Toy Story Mania, ride the back of Slinky Dog on a family roller coaster, eat lunch out of Woody’s Lunchbox, and watch the army soldiers march down the street. It has enough thrills to satisfy thrill seekers, but it is kept at a level that the whole family can enjoy.

Attractions
Toy Story Mania! – Go inside of an arcade game, and compete with your car passengers to see who can get the highest score in this interactive ride. This 3-D shooting dark ride zips you from room to room and lets you play 5 fast paced games starring familiar characters from the movies.
Slinky Dog Dash – Slinky Dog lets you ride on his back on this thrilling family roller coaster. You’ll zip around many toys along the way.
Alien Swirling Saucers – Beware The Claw! The little green aliens power up their saucers and take you for a ride. This has a very unique ride set up, you are constantly switching tracks as you move around the claw, and you likely won’t end up next to the car you started out next to.
Dining
As of this writing, there are no table service restaurants in Toy Story Land. However, there is a Toy Story themed, BBQ table service restaurant, called Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ that is planned to open in the future.
QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANTS
Woody’s Lunch Box – Eat out of Woody’s Lunch Box at this quick service location that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is a little limited, but what they do offer is very good. This restaurant is known for it’s Tarts, which aren’t really offered anywhere else at Disney World, and the flavors can change based on the day or season.
Shopping
Ironically, for a land filled with toys, there aren’t a whole of merchandise locations in this land. There are two outdoor carts. One shaped like a toy camper, and one in the shape of a toy dump truck. These carts offer fun, Toy Story Land related souvenirs such as pins, T shirts, stuffed animals, light up necklaces, and more. Since Slinky Dog Dash is the star attraction in this land, one popular item to get is a Slinky Dog head band.
Characters
Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and the Green Army Men are commonly seen in Toy Story Land. Bo Peep also sometimes joins the gang, as she became more popular with Toy Story 4.
The Green Army Men are some of the most entertaining characters you will find. There is a special squad call the Green Army Drummers that parade around the land throughout the day. They are a highly skilled drum corp. Another group that commonly comes out is the Green Arm Patrol. You will see them carrying objects, such as the Pixar ball and hula hoops, and they will stop and pose, salute, and chat with whoever they walk past. Just beware, they may give you a challenge and try to recruit you!
