Sunset Boulevard is a land in Hollywood Studios, and the entire strip is inspired by a real life location. The street is lined with shops on both sides, but most thrill seekers will be heading towards the end of the road where two of the most thrilling attractions in all of Walt Disney World are located. Sunset Boulevard was actually the first expansion to Hollywood Studios that was done after the park had been open for a number of years. Despite all the hype with Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Sunset Boulevard is still an extremely popular land.
This is yours overview of Sunset Boulevard.
Attractions
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – Step into an old, rundown hotel where you get on a rickety elevator lift. Somehow you’ll end up in the 5th dimension, and you’ll unexpectedly be dropped down the abandoned shaft.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – Go backstage into a recording studio with Aerosmith where they will take you on a rockin’ ride to their concert. This indoor coaster takes off from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. The inside is completely dark, except for the neon signs around you, and this is the only attraction at Disney World that will take you upside down!
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy – This 10 minute theater show is hosted by, none other than, Lightning McQueen himself. There is an advanced animatronic of this famous racer up front, and he is anxious to show you the racing moves he has learned throughout the years using his new racing simulator.
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage – This outdoor musical, with live actors, is a truncated version of the popular story.
